Using LinkedIn to Grow Your Profile Online

LinkedIn has had an astounding impact on organisations over the last decade and the social revolution is continuing to skyrocket. With digital communication being front and centre in the customer journey, organisations must incorporate LinkedIn into their marketing strategies and harness the opportunity to engage with their target audiences.

It all sounds so easy, but no doubt there are challenges when it comes to LinkedIn. How can you save time creating posts and where can you find content ideas for my customers on LinkedIn? What tools can you use to manage our accounts? How will you know if your posts are having any impact?

There are so many questions that need to be addressed in order to stay ahead of the curve, create great content and keep up with your target audience.

By the end of this session, you will have a better understanding of how LinkedIn can increase your organisations exposure.

Join the 1-Mile Challenge

We’re inviting everyone to take part in our 1-Mile Challenge – or go further if you can! The event will take place all day in the Your Leisure Gym on-site, with flexible time slots available so we can collectively reach our goal of 100 miles in support of Cancer Research.

Whether you prefer running or rowing, both machines will be available – so there’s no excuse not to get involved! Donations are warmly welcomed and can be made via the link already provided.

Encourage your colleagues to join in, cheer others on, and help us reach our target. We’re proud to be the first of many science parks supporting this initiative and will be passing the baton to the next location once our day is complete.

Let’s come together, get moving, and raise vital funds for a great cause!

Information- Over the past 120 years, our work has revolutionised what we know about cancer and made discoveries that benefit millions of people globally. Our researchers have been at the heart of some of the biggest discoveries in cancer and have played their part across disciplines, from discovery science and prevention to diagnosis and treatment. In the 1970s, just 1 in 4 people survived their cancer for 10 years or more. Today, with the help of research, now 2 in 4 survive.

  • Over the last 50 years, Cancer Research UK’s work has helped double breast cancer survival in the UK.

  • We were a key player in the development of radiotherapy, which now benefits millions of cancer patients worldwide.

  • Our research led to the development of the HPV vaccine, which is expected to prevent almost 90% of cervical cancers in the UK.

  • Cancer Research UK helped prove the link between tobacco and cancer, preventing millions of deaths worldwide.

  • More than 8 in 10 people who receive cancer drugs on the NHS in the UK receive a drug developed by us, or with us.

  • Cancer Research UK played a leading role in the development of abiraterone – a drug that gives men with advanced prostate  cancer more time with their friends and family.

Info@discovery-park.co.uk to register and be involved. It can we 1mile per person or more miles to support and get donations for Cancer Research.
