The NEBOSH National General Certificate is the most widely recognised health and safety qualification of its kind. This course gives learners everything they need know and do to make their workplace safer. Upon completion, learners will be able to confidently carry out risk assessments, manage and minimise workplace risks, and support a health and safety culture.

Course Content
The course consists of two units, each separately assessed.
- NG1 (unit 1) – Management of health and safety which includes: Why we should manage workplace health and safety, How health and safety management systems work and what they look like, Managing risk – understanding people and processes, Health and safety monitoring and measuring
- NG2 (unit 2) – Risk Assessment which includes: Physical and psychological health, Musculoskeletal health, Chemical and biological agents, General workplace issues, Work equipment, Fire, Electricity
