The modern, professional and well-equipped rooms and event spaces are named after leading science and technology figures such as Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale and Alan Turing. They are a place for collaboration, inspiration and innovation.

Meeting Rooms

Discovery Park offers 12 meeting rooms across campus suitable for hosting small meetings to large workshops, training or conferences for several hundred people. It’s the perfect setting where our on-site concierge will take care of all your needs.

Our in-house audiovisual equipment includes a projector, screen and conference video. Specialised AV equipment can be hired if required. All rooms are provided with a fast, free and secure Wi-Fi network.

Our chefs and hospitality team will work with you to produce a menu to match any theme and ensure your catering exceeds expectations.

Facilities

Discovery Event Centre is an ideal place to hold an event as it has everything that a successful function needs. Ample parking, security, technical equipment and food and drink – everything is onsite.

There are number of first-class services and high-quality outlets available at Discovery Park for delegates. As well as grab-and-go outlets, there is also a buffet-style restaurant onsite and a bakery, which provides hot and cold food and snacks throughout the day.

For events that are on a tight timescale, or for delegates that will network during breaks, bespoke catering is available – whether simple tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits or a full hot and cold buffet is required – it can be arranged.

Additional Equipment

All rooms at Discovery Event Centre come with a screen and projector as standard, with the exception of The Boardroom, which has higher-spec equipment installed and The Gateway, which is space-only.

We are able to provide additional equipment where required, and will endeavour to fulfil any requests for other necessary technical equipment.

With our large open conference space with a sizeable landscaped garden, making it an adaptable venue, suitable for a wide variety of events. There’s nothing we haven’t seen, from black tie galas to sports events and more. Your event is just that – yours. So create your own bespoke menu and work with a caterer who honours and understands your traditions and tastes. We can provide the proper setup for both banquet – and buffet-style dining.
