Job Overview

Concept Life Sciences seeks talented Chemists at all levels to join our dedicated team of scientists for a Fixed term of 6 months, with the possibility of extension. Your skills will help drive our high-quality research programmes, from our state-of-the-art chemistry laboratories in Sandwich. In this exciting role, you will work alongside experienced chemists, with innovative technologies helping to support the drug discovery goals of our clients.

 

What you will be doing:

As a Research Scientist, you will work on a variety of client projects. It’s detail-orientated work, taking responsibility for supporting R&D and GMP projects – calling for passionate and committed analysts with a genuine passion and proven background in the exciting field of analytical chemistry.

 

About you:

  • You will be passionate about science, excited to share and expand your skills and knowledge, and motivated to make a positive contribution to both chemistry and workplace culture.
  • Scientific integrity will be of the upmost importance to you, along with attention to customer requirements and a commitment to client confidentiality.
  • You will be a highly skilled analytical chemist who enjoys practical laboratory-based work and will be familiar with method development and validation in HPLC, UPLC and/or GC. Experience working in a GXP environment, with IPC, NMR, SFC, and/or preparative chromatography would be advantageous.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills; you will be comfortable reporting and presenting your research to colleagues and clients alike.
  • You will have a B.Sc. or higher in Chemistry or a related discipline with demonstrable experience in working in an analytical lab.

Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
