Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship Opportunities Offer ‘Out of the Ordinary’ Career Challenge

Global Workplace Solutions Engineering and Lab Services (GWS ELS) is leading efforts to recruit two Advanced Engineering Apprentices. If you know someone looking for an ‘out of the ordinary’ career challenge that really makes a difference to people’s lives, then read on to find out more.

Pfizer’s Sandwich site apprenticeship programme has an impressive history, with many apprentices who’ve qualified, still working here today. Our Engineering team plays a vital role in the creation of new medicines by ensuring workplaces, manufacturing, laboratory equipment and building services are available and continually approved.

The programme allows apprentices to study for nationally-recognised qualifications, while gaining invaluable on-the-job experience, earning a salary, and enjoying benefits enjoyed by all employees. The four-year multi-skilled apprenticeship includes disciplines covering Mechanical, Electrical and Control Instrumentation. Successful applicants will need to have or be expecting to achieve a minimum of 5 GCSEs, or the equivalent, at Grades A* – C (9-4). These must include Maths and Physics/Science at Grade B/6. Equivalent awards and appropriate GNVQ/BTEC achievements will also be considered.

The closing date for applications is 5 June 2022.
