New energy supplier arrives at Discovery Park on a mission to challenge the Big 6

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_column_text]Energy supplier ENIGYS – a regulated, fully licenced energy supply company, trading as GOTO Energy – has joined Discovery Park with ambitions to serve the gas and electricity needs of domestic and microbusiness customers in the UK.

ENIGYS (through the brand GOTO Energy) will be a dynamic challenger brand to the Big 6 energy companies which include the likes of British Gas and EDF Energy.

The products offered to consumers have a green, environmental, socially conscious focus.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”5199″ img_size=”large”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This includes electricity that is generated from 100% renewable sources (primarily wind) and natural gas, which is 100% carbon offset.

The company obtained its energy supply licenses in July 2018 and will begin full-scale commercial operations in March/April 2019.

ENIGYS has plans to scale up and expand its workforce quickly, with plans in place for 20 permanent job roles within the next 12 months.

They are among a number of new arrivals on site bringing more jobs and opportunities for East Kent, including investment advisor, Apex Incorporated, and mechanical ventilation specialists Built Environment Technology.

Discovery Park offers office and laboratories solutions for every stage of business in a collaborative environment  with more than 3,000 people currently employed. These companies range from science research and education facilities to the businesses that support them – such as recruitment firms, marketing companies and accountants.
