Scitegrity is a small UK based company that specialises in supporting the pharmaceutical drug discovery industry. Our flagship product “Controlled Substances Squared” is used by major pharmaceutical and chemical companies to help ensure global compliance with chemical based legislation. In 2019, we are launching two new web based products and are looking for someone with passion and drive to develop and improve all our solutions.

We are on the lookout for a new ambitious, self-motivated and enthusiastic Full Stack Developer for our team at Discovery Park in Sandwich (Kent). As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for front and back-end web development. This is a hands-on role, with you developing, supporting and learning all aspects of our applications and systems as you develop and improve our web based interfaces, webservices and integrations with third parties and our core platform.

Key technical skills

You will have good knowledge of HTML (including HTML5), CSS and JavaScript

Have experience in querying relational databases (MySQL, Oracle etc)

Experience in deployment and integration of webservices.

Desirable skills (but not required as on the job training will be given)

Experience in database management and schema design.

Experience with Amazon Webservices to run and manage servers and applications

Some basic knowledge of chemistry or experience of the chemicals/pharmaceutical sector

Exposure to platforms such as KNIME, Pipeline Pilot, RDKit or similar in silico chemical processing systems
