Payroll & Benefits Manager 14 May, 2019

£33k – £38k per annum (6-month contract)

Located in Sandwich, Kent

We have an opportunity to join a global leader in biochemistry, supplying medicines and health products to the NHS and other healthcare organisations.

Based in Sandwich, they require a Payroll & Benefits Manager to help oversee the UK payroll, tax and benefits process.

This is a senior level role and will report directly to the UK Head of Payroll, Benefits & Tax.

The Payroll & Benefits Manager responsibilities include:

Support the shared payroll services across all companies within the group.

Provide technical expertise to HR, GSS and primary clients to aid the efficient operation of the business as a whole.

Accurate and timely processing of payments and deductions necessary for the monthly payroll.  Proactively identify and rectify errors.

Complete monthly payroll financial reconciliations, processing any necessary manual corrections to the payroll accounts.

Participate in continuous improvement projects.

For this role, you will need the following:

Qualifications: AAT or CIPP Diploma is preferred, although an ability to demonstrate expertise via career achievements will be considered.

Experience: You will need significant payroll, benefits, tax and human resources experience to be successful in this role. Computer literacy is also expected, as well an ability to communicate successfully across multiple levels (and externally to companies within a larger group.)

Characteristics: This role requires excellent attention to detail and ability to cope with high volumes of information. You will need to be comfortable working to tight deadlines and managing a range of tasks.
