eXroid is now registered with the CQC

eXroid is now registered with the Care Quality Commission

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care services in England. Their evaluation of services provides support and assurance to patients that the care they receive is safe and well managed.

We are pleased to announce that the eXroid application to the CQC has been successful and we are now officially registered as a regulated clinical service provider.

This comes in addition to:

  • The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) approval of the eXroid electrotherapy treatment  as ‘safe and effective’ in December 2019, and;
  • The CE and ISO13485:2016 manufacturing regulation awards by British Standards Institution (BSi) in 2019.

To our knowledge, the quality-of-life benefits that the eXroid treatment provides are unique, with 90% of our patients reporting a return to normal duties on the same day as treatment. We are not aware of any other treatment that can offer that.

We remain committed to making this procedure accessible to the 8 million sufferers in the UK and the millions of people, in need, worldwide.
