Fundraising

We’re committed to supporting charitable causes and stage a number of fundraising activities throughout the year.

We receive a large number of requests for support from charitable causes, both regionally and further afield.

Whether it’s through organising fundraising events with our tenants or donating supplies to local organisations, we try to help wherever we can.

Martha Trust Prom

In 2016 we sponsored The Martha Trust Prom, a glittering event held in the grounds of The Salutation in Sandwich, that raised thousands of pounds for a great cause.

The Martha Trust provides lifelong care for those with learning and physical disabilities. Guests were treated to a host of local musicians plus family activities. Fundraising activities included a tombola and a charity auction.

Supporting Pilgrims Hospice

In 2015, Discovery Park raised nearly £40,000 for Thanet’s Pilgrims Hospice.

Events throughout the year culminated in a charity ball, raising a fantastic amount.

The money raised helped to achieve a target of funding a nurse for a year.
