An IT and telecoms company based at Discovery Park has begun its first phase of national expansion after winning a contract with a London property group.
Communicate Technology has signed an agreement with commercial offices manager Property Initiatives.
The firm, which was ranked in the Financial Times list of fastest-growing companies in Europe last year, will look after 250,000 sq ft of business space across five sites in the capital.
The contract also involves connecting another five sites a month nationally over the next year – Property Initiatives manages three million sq ft of commercial offices.
Communicate chief executive Tony Snaith said: “This contract is the start of the next phase of growth for us, as we aim to roll out the Communicate brand to a national audience.
“It comes in what has been an extremely busy 2017 for the business, which has seen our customer portfolio expand, key acquisitions to strengthen our customer offering and three internal appointments to ensure we’re in the best possible position to meet our ambitious targets.”
The deal comes after a series of appointments at the company, including John Toal as sales director, Oliver Stell as business development manager and Emily Bentley as marketing and business development manager.
The firm has also carried out recent acquisitions of telecoms company Touchdown Offices and cyber security company Landscape Networks.
